A Voice For Haiti
Since 2010, the Ripple of Hope Initiative continues to be implemented at the Zanmi Beni (Blessed Friends) Orphanage run by RFK/Human Rights Laureate, Loune Viaud and Partners in Health. These children, many of whom were disabled, orphaned, or abused, were living in a single ward at the General Hospital in Port-au-Prince for years. They had been abandoned or had been left at the hospital by parents who were, sadly, unable to care for them.
A Voice For India
In 2017, the Ripple of Hope Initiative was implemented with 83 children removed from exploitative labor at Bal Ashram in Jaipur, India, the rehabilitation and training center of Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childhood Movement). The center is run by RFK/Human Rights award recipient and Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi.
